Work with Haemnet

Opportunities to work with Haemnet

If you’ve been following us on social media, you may have spotted us mentioning our big plans for 2020 … we are well in to the new year now and things are ramping up. So we are looking to expand our team…

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who want a career in healthcare communications to help out on running our workshops and conferences, undertaking research studies and generating educational content.

We are interested in people with all different levels of experience, from recent graduates looking for their first career move to those who’ve managed a few projects in a comms agency and are now looking for their next challenge.

We’re pretty flexible and have opportunities for freelance and part-time work as project managers, writers, meeting organisers or a combination of these.

The kind of qualities we are looking for include:

  • Communication skills – we have a copy-hungry website and an active social media platform to maintain, so the ability to express yourself in writing is a big plus
  • Organisational skills – with meetings to run, conferences to plan and lots of people to talk to, we need people who can help keep us all on track
  • Initiative, drive and willingness to have a go – everyone loves a “self-starter”, but show us your value and we’ll help you grow

We will need you to be willing and able to work remotely … Haemnet don’t have an office, but we regularly catch up in person and over the phone. Being London-based (or close) is helpful but not essential. And computer literacy is pretty important … but don’t worry, we don’t expect you to be a tech whizz!

It would help if you have some knowledge or understanding of the haemophilia and bleeding disorders community but this is not an absolute requirement … you’ll pick up a lot along the way. Trust us!

Why should you work with us?

This is a pretty exciting time the bleeding disorders community … there’s a lot going on and as a result no two weeks are the same when working on Haemnet projects.

You’ll get to work with some lovely people who are passionate about improving the lives of people with haemophilia and bleeding disorders by supporting healthcare professionals and carrying out important patient-focused research (more about this here). We are a friendly and experienced team, ready and willing to support your professional development in this area.

Other benefits include:

  • Flexible hours
  • Opportunities to travel
  • The chance to be creative and directly influence our projects.

If this sounds interesting, shoot an email to info@haemnet.com telling us a bit about yourself and what you are looking for, along with your CV.
