Applications are welcome from nurses working with people living affected by haemophilia and/or bleeding disorders in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Application forms can now be downloaded from Haemnet, and the deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 21 September.
If you have a research project in mind, you can apply for a sum of up to £2,000 to help with your work, for example to:
- Undertake an audit, pilot study, or small nursing research study.
- Assist with dissemination of research findings.
- Fund travel to help undertake multi-centre research.
- Pay research sundries, for example statistical software.
- Backfill staffing costs to allow time to undertake research.
Funding is not intended to be used to fund attendance on educational courses, or conference participation unless this is to share findings and all other sources of funding have been explored.
The Awarding Committee will assess each proposal on its merits and will announce successful applications by Friday 1 November. awards will be presented at next year’s HNA conference (7/8 February 2014), and we’ll also expect you to give a short presentation in the Snippety Bits section of the programme.
